William L. Culbertson

William L. Culbertson is a retired mathematics professor who has turned to writing full time. Branching out from academic writing he has published several local histories. Since he has been an avid science fiction and fantasy reader all his life, he naturally turned to writing in those genres. Although he has many hobbies and interests, he lives quietly with no desire to live the challenging lives of his characters.

A little bit more about me...

All my life I've been an avid reader. After all those vicarious adventures, I've decided to turn some of the ideas that have been rolling around inside my head into my own stories. Although I enjoyed my other book projects, telling my own stories is even more fun!

I am a veteran educator, and I have done a fair share of writing in my career including three books of local history. Now I'm reaching beyond academic writing (a thrill a minute in the passive voice) and historical narratives to something a little different. Since I've been a long-time fan of science fiction and fantasy, I naturally ended up in that genre.

At the moment, I am going through developmental editing of my dragon series, "King's Exile," "King's Dragon," and "King's Crown." I am serializing this work in progress on WattPad, and I welcome your comments about the story, the characters, and, of course, the dragons. Let me know what you think.
